The first White Buffalo was born, and the herd was started in Colony, Wyoming.   The End of 2000 they moved the herd to Custer, S.D.   Then in 2001 they moved to Flagstaff, Arizona to be near their family.  

The Buffalo was put in a 501 © 3 non-profit called Sacred World Peace Church and Alliance for their protection.

 

Jim Riley (The Guardian) passed over to the Spirit World, April 12, 2008.

At the time of Jim’s passing the animal’s needed land and the buffalo needed to be on grass once again.

 

After Mrs. Riley (Dena) gave her situation some thought, Dena decided to follow her heart and move her and the herd to Oregon. Jim and Dena were married in 1990 in Junction City, Or.  It drew her back, to where she and Jim started their life as one together, but this time with 14 beautiful Buffalo in tow.

 

The Buffalo and Dena landed in Southern Oregon, in April 2009 on a 27 acre piece of land; the property was donated, for a tax right off for the buffalo to graze on as a temporary place of residence. 

  

Big Momma, a brown buffalo, gave birth to MIRACLE MOON, a female, born red like all baby buffalo…but soon turned white and remains white today. Her name comes from the fact she survived being tossed 15 feet into the air while still in the birth sack. Jim saved her life.

MIRACLE MOON-[1] –(female) our first White Buffalo, now a mother AND a great, great grandmother, was born on April 30, 1997.  MIRACLE MOON-[1] gave birth to:

RAINBOW SPIRIT-[2] (female), born on June 8, 2000, fathered by Willy Wonka—a  brown North American Bison. Right after she was born a big rainbow appeared over the ranch.

SPIRIT THUNDER-[6] (male), born on May 27, 2004, fathered by BlackJack—a  brown Canadian Bison. Cynthia Hart named him. There were problems with this birth and she received a vision just before he was born. He was calling and said he would bring forth the thunder and rain which would bring forth the green grass, the flowers, the abundance, a large White Buffalo herd, and new land.

MANDELA PEACE PILGRIM-[3] (female), born on July 18, 2001, fathered by Willy Wonka—a brown North American Bison. She was born on the birthday of the “Peace Pilgrim” and named in her honor. He was the whitest of all until WHITE SPIRIT-[9].

SUNRISE SPIRIT-[5] (female), born May 22, 2004, fathered by BlackJack—a brown Canadian Bison. She received international attention when she was born. Most buffalo are born in the late afternoon, she was born right before sunrise.

WHITE SPIRIT-[9] (male), born on May 17, 2007, fathered by ARIZONA SPIRIT [4], their first baby together. First White baby born of a WHITE mother and WHITE father. He is the whitest of the buffalos.

ARIZONA SPIRIT-[4] (male) on July 1, 2002, fathered by Willy Wonka--a brown North American Bison. First White Buffalo born in Arizona, so named to honor the new place.

CHIEF HIAWATHA-[7] (male), born on May 16, 2005. He is named after the great Onondaga chief who founded the Iroquois League of Five Nations and brought peace to the tribes of the Northeast. He was called the “Peacemaker.” Fathered by Willy Wonka—a brown North American Bison.

JIM'S "BE HAPPY SPIRIT”-[10], (female) born May 4, 2008. This is MIRACLE MOON'S 5th white baby born to her, fathered by SPIRIT THUNDER-[6].

LUCKY STAR-[8] (male), born  June 10, 2006. The 2nd White Buffalo born to Big Momma since MIRACLE MOON-[1] (1997) was born. There had been many brown buffalo babies, so he was lucky, he was another White Buffalo from Big Momma. Fathered by ARIZONA SPIRIT-[4].

DENA'S "PRIDE & JOY"-[11] (female), born May 15,2008. This is Big Momma’s 3rd White baby born to her. Now our 11th White Buffalo. Fathered by ARIZONA SPIRIT-[4].
